On April 14th, Masahiro Nanjo obtained a favorable decision by JPO Appeal Board to affirm the validity of Trademark Registration No. 5,130,678 in the Trademark Opposition case (Opposition No. 2008-900292) demanded against its client.

On February 27th, Masahiro Nanjo and Ayako Seta obtained a favorable decision (Hei 13 (wa) 17762) by Tokyo District Court to dismiss all the claims against its client by the patentee of Utility Model Patent No. 2,573,636 due to the fact that the patent is invalid and therefore not infringed.
