Our patent attorneys, Masahiro Nanjo, Hokuto Hara, and Ayako Seta served as counsel for the patent holder in the litigation pertaining to the Request for Invalidation Trial against Japanese Patent No. 4,376,630.

In response to the trial decision of the Japan Patent Office rejecting the Request for Invalidation Trial against this patent (Invalidation No. 2020-800034), litigations to revoke the trial decision have been filed by the opponents (Intellectual Property High Court 2021 (Gyo-Ke) Nos. 10155 and 10157). However, Intellectual Property High Court decided in favor of the patent holder stating that there are no reasons to revoke the trial decision of the Japan Patent Office.
